Making the Internet Safer for Children

The National Center For Missing and Exploited Children maintains a Web site, the CyberTipline, where you can report instances or the potential danger of child sexual exploitation via the Internet, including child pornography, enticement, and other improper contact. We

encourage you to bookmark www.missingkids.com  on your computer, report any information you have that will help the National Center, and encourage others to do the same. The National Center is a CIMA client.

The Center, in cooperation with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, has developed www.NetSmartz.org, an educational site aimed at helping children, teenagers, parents and educators understand the threat of sexual predators on the Internet, and learn how the use the Internet safely. The site uses original animated characters and games to appeal to children, as well as age-appropriate resources for teenagers and adults. You can link to the site by clicking on the image below:
