How We Protect Your Privacy

Information we collect about you
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the applications or other forms you provide us yourself, and from the record of your customer history with us. We also may obtain information from consumer reporting agencies, government agencies or others, if the insurance companies to which you have applied for coverage require that information. Examples are driving records, claims history and credit reports (in the summary form commonly called an "insurance score.")

How we use and share that information
We use and share nonpublic personal information about our customers only as necessary to effect, administer or enforce a transaction related to the insurance they have purchased, and to submit insurance applications on their behalf. We will share information if required to do so by a government agency or regulatory authority, but we never will sell, rent or otherwise divulge information about you to anyone. This policy applies to former customers as well as current ones.

How we protect that information
We use physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect both the security and integrity of your nonpublic personal information.

Dispute resolution
Any dispute relating to our privacy policy, or the breach of it, shall be settled in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

Disclosure of information in unforeseen circumstances
In connection with the potential sale or transfer of its interests, CIMA and its affiliates reserve the right to sell or transfer your information to a third party that concentrates its business in insurance and also agrees to maintain the obligations of this privacy statement.
